Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)

So, if the problem is with remote server you should ask that server administrator if such a mailbox exists. Por lo tanto, si el problema es con el servidor remoto debe preguntar a que el administrador del servidor si este tipo existe un buzón de correos.

RESOLUTION

Such error messages which are generated by different SMTP servers means that the mailbox you are trying to send mail to doesn't exists. So, if the problem is with remote server you should ask that server administrator if such a mailbox exists.

If the error occurs when you send mail to your Plesk server, make sure that the mail address you are trying to send mail to really exists and Mail service for the domain is enabled. Also, check that MX (A) record for the domain you trying to send mail to is resolved to the server you expect.

- Make sure that the domain you sent mail to is not listed in /var/qmail/control/locals configuration file. The file must contain 'localhost' entry only.

- If you get this error for a domain that is hosted on the Plesk server, but has external MX, you have to disable 'Mail' service for this domain in Plesk CP.

- If DrWeb is installed on the server, and has no valid license, make sure that LicenseLimit is set to 'pass' in /etc/drweb/drweb_qmail.conf:

# grep License /etc/drweb/drweb_qmail.conf
LicenseLimit = pass

Another possible reason of the problem. It can be another SMTP service running on the server. You can quickly check it if look on greetings on SMTP port, it should be like:

# telnet 192.168.1.1 25
Trying 192.168.1.1...
Connected to domain.tld (192.168.1.1).
Escape character is '^]'.
220 domain.tld ESMTP

where 192.168.1.1 should be replaced with your Plesk server IP and domain.tld should be hostname of the server (Qmail takes it from /var/qmail/control/me). If you get an another greeting follow article 1374.

In the end you can try to use the utility

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk

it rebuilds qmail config files, restores missed mail account folders, etc according to Plesk database. Please note that the utility may run for a long time and mail accounts may not be accessible while it runs.
