Cron tasks

Cron tasks

In unix cron is a task scheduler that is used to run background processes, defining a launch frequency (for example, every minute, day, week, day of the week or month).

An example may be to download a certain page automatically via the wget command, a certain day or a certain frequency for some special reason, usually to update some type of code.

ProfessionalHosting has this functionality limited to the permissions of the user who executes them.
