A series of processors like Intel Celeron, Pentium, Core2 and Xeon offer the possibility to choose the appropriate processor according to the demands of the application and the cost. The 1U server and a simple processor is perfect for single-application computing infrastructures, web or network applications. The DL120 G5 offers two PCI-Express slots with an option to replace the PCI-Express slot with the PCI-X. Additional updates, such as the HP SAS main bus adapter and Smart Array drivers, can be performed that provide support for SAS hard disk drives. The remote management offered by the optional LO100c gives the DL120 G5 an efficient and low-cost solution for managing servers remotely anywhere, anytime.
