Professional hosting has two types of flow in the data center of Interxion below we explain its characteristics and differences:

  • National connectivity line. It has direct peering from the neutral node of espanyol (Spain) with all the national operators (including telephone). For the international operators most of the peering is done in Interxion (Spain from the meeting room) and London.
    • Advantage:
      • Reduction of latency with telephone.
      • Direct connection with telephone in espanix shorter trace.
    • Disadvantages:
      • Increases your cost by up to 60%.
  • International connectivity line. It has direct peering with most of the national operators in Spain, except with telephone whose exchange of traffic is made in London and France. For the international operators most of the peering is done in Interxion (Spain from the meeting room) and London. This network has a broad international backbone.
    • Advantage
      • Reduction of costs up to 60%.
      • Better international connectivity.
    • Disadvantages
      • Peering with telephone from London or Paris.
